K Relly spreads light through laughs during uncomfortable times

The new RnB comedy King has arrived

HOUSTON, Texas - Funnyman Phill Wade is back with a new persona who's got people laughin' just as hard as they're jammin'. His new character known as K Relly combines the two things Wade says he loves most: comedy and 90's RnB.

"K Relly is a mixture of all the RnB greats of the 90's with a big splash of funny. Think Gerald Levert, Keith Sweat, Babyface, and Aaron Hall on one record written by Jamie Foxx. That's K Relly," says Wade, "I want people to know that he's the King of Comedy RnB, but he thinks he IS the King of RnB, period!"

K Relly is fresh and flossed from head to toe and his sound perfectly compliments his style. No doubt, a character this well developed came to life seamlessly thanks to a talented team that can keep up with Wade's shenanigans.

"My crew, Ira Dean, Madicin, Nic Humes, Freddy Fontaine & Eric King, affectionately known as The K.R.E.A.M. Team, is full of Billboard and Grammy award winning singer/songwriters and producers who all came together in a fairly organic fashion," explains Wade, "Ira is the 'Zordon' of the group [laughs]. We all have relationships with each other and work together effortlessly. You'll be able to feel it when you hear these new records."

Despite 2020 being such a hard-to-navigate year, Wade says the tough times have blessed him with even more inspiration to keep people laughing. The light-hearted performer admits to an on-going mental battle with social media and the abundance of depressing content he sees daily. Continued conflict surrounding our nation's race relations and open acts of injustice against people of color are a driving force to make K Relly a breath of fresh air.

"I realize that laughter can heal and help people who battle depression. I've received so many messages from followers thanking me for giving them a mental escape, so I have to use my gift to create those escapes and give those laughs."

K Relly recently released his first single Nasty aka Unsweet Tea featuring Slimwav. Word on the streets is that more hot music from the RnB superstar is dropping soon.
